Kyle did an outstanding job, on a house that came with a few complications! He offered smart solutions, communicated well, and was a pleasure to deal with. Joel was also excellent when he came out to quote. Would highly recommend!

Zak arrived in the scheduled window of time and was incredibly efficient at installing new lights in our house. We also asked him to fix a broken lightswitch without giving him prior notice of this, and this was no problem for him. Marlec were also easy to book with via their website.

Joel was really great - he was responsive, came to our place on a public holiday, worked on the issue for around 3 hours to figure out what was going on, fixed it, then cleaned and tidied up afterwards, talked me through the whole process, and put a quote into the real estate agents for further repairs. So professional, friendly and efficient - thanks Joel!

I could not be happier with the service provided, and work completed by Joel from Marlec. Minutes after I posted a quote request on hipages, Joel called to talk through option and provide indicative pricing. His price was really competitive so I booked and was surprised that he was able to attend the job 36 hour later! Arrived on time and worked non stop to complete a switch board change over, new power point install and to correct some pretty shonky home reno work including broken power points that had been tiled in, a faulty socket with that had been ‘creatively’ wired in and even a light switch we that we discovered and been firmly glued in place to the tile wall! Joel competed every thing professionally, with an eye for detail. Checked in with each task to explain options or make sure I was happy. Left everything clean and tidy, vacuuming, wiping down the switches he installed and cleaning dust of benches etc. Would happily book again

The Marlec team are friendly, trustworthy and efficient. We've used their services twice now. Today I called in the morning with a faulty power outlet and it was checked and fixed before lunch. In the past they installed ceiling fans for us. Both times it was all done smoothly with the minimum of fuss. The tradespeople who did the work communicated clearly what the problems were and how to fix them. Fair rates, clearly communicated. Can't recommend them highly enough.

I can't recommend Marlec Electrical highly enough! Joel and his team are absolutely fantastic they are professional, punctual, and extremely knowledgeable. Joel took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure the job was done safely and efficiently. It was replacement of faulty oyster light with new pendent light, the quality of the work is top-notch. It’s rare to find a company that combines great customer service with such high standards of workmanship. Zack came on time as Joel mentioned, seemlessly replaced the light with Shaun’s help. They were very punctual, professional and very competitive in price from all the quotes I collected, with no hidden fee. Don’t need to look elsewhere for future work! If you need an electrician you can trust, this is the one to call!
